According to a report in This Day newspaper, singer, actor and entertainment icon, Onyeka Onwenu and Nollywood veteran, Patience Ozokwor (popularly known as Mama G) are currently at logger heads over an issue that began while President Goodluck Jonathan was allegedly handing “goodies” to Nollywood practitioners in the build up to the general elections.

It is believed that Onyeka Onwenu had a big say in which Nollywood practitioner or group succeeded in gaining access to the Presidency during that period. She was quite influential on the entertainment arm of the campaign train but was stunned when Patience Ozokwor succeeded in gaining access to Aso Rock without going through her.
This, alongside the issue of who should control the Nollywood “goody bag” that came from Jonathan is said to have caused the “fights” one of which happened in the presence of Dame Patience Jonathan, and which still goes on till now at every opportunity.
