Retract and Timer: Retract allows you to remove text or photos from a message thread so that they are no longer visible to anybody in a conversation and Timer allows you to set how long something is visible for in advance.
In addition to Retract and Timer, users also have access to the Private Chat and Edit features. The former removes names and avatars from the chat window while the latter allows you to edit messages you’ve sent to a contact.

However, to keep monetizing the platform they would be keeping some paid subscriptions, which include “Sticker Club,” “No Ads,” and “Custom Pin.” What they hope to achieve with this strategy is user retention, Blackberry needs to find ways of keeping people interested and this seems to be the best bet.
